Aliyah is so smart! She knew the letters of the alphabet so early, that I decided to teach her a little more about the letters and the sounds they make. We did a "school" this fall and Aliyah loved it! She would get so excited and help me get ready for school that day by erasing the chalkboard, getting dressed, and getting out the little flag. We started each day with the Pledge of Allegiance (She had it memorized by the letter "J" - smart girl!) We then practice writing the letter and saying the sound it made. Her favorite part was when I pulled out a bag full of things that started with that letter. She loved pulling the things out and saying what they were. After the letter bag, we would do a fun craft, activity, or treat that started with that letter. Here are some pictures from school.
Letter A day - A for Aliyah!
C for cookies
Letter E
Letter G
We had graham crackers and green milk
(her favorite treat!)
Letter I
(she is holding a bag of ice)
Letter J
The letter L for ladybug (I love the face on her ladybug!)
M is for monsters (She wanted them to hold hands)
N is for noodle necklace
X is for Xylophone
Y
Z for Zebra cookies
We both really enjoyed school. It helped me get creative and it was educational for Aliyah.
