Trick or Treating

We had a great Halloween this year!
In the morning, I took the girls over to Grandpa and Grandma Sorensen's. Grandma made Aliyah a fun spooky lunch.
And Grandpa and Laura took us to see the big spider on a neighbor's house.
When Daddy got home we had our Halloween dinner - chicken patty Bats, mashed potato ghosts, orange french bread, spider web eggs, and Frankenstein juice

After dinner we went to Grandpa and Grandma Thomson's house for some more Halloween fun and trick or treating.

Aliyah came up with the Halloween costumes this year. She watched Winnie the Pooh's "Boo to You" movie where Pooh dressed up as a bee and Piglet dressed up like a flower. Ever since she saw that movie, she has stuck with this idea that she was going to be a bee like Pooh and Hailey was going to be a flower like Piglet.
We have the cutest little flower and bumble bee!
Aliyah wanted Mommy to dress up like a bee also and she wanted Daddy to be a flower (ha ha! We would have loved to see that!), but Daddy decided to be the bee catcher and carried around a net.

Trick or treating with Grandpa and Grandma Thomson
When we got back to Grandpa and Grandma Thomson's, we enjoyed some pumpkin stew, yummy apple cider, pumpkin roll, and lots of treats and candy. The girls loved all the candy. They got quite the collection. We heard the people at the doors say "You're so cute, you can have two!"

We had fun with our girls, watching Hailey with her first Halloween (she loved it!) and Aliyah now that she is old enough to get into trick or treating.
Happy 1st Halloween our adorable little Hailey flower!
