Hailey's First Birthday!

Our cute little Hailey Mae is one years old!

We had a fun day celebrating her!

For breakfast she had her favorite - pancakes!

She loved her birthday balloon.

While we were playing today, Hailey surprised me and started walking on her own!  I guess she figured that she was "big stuff" now that she was one!  I tried to get Aliyah to record Hailey walking to me, but it didn't work out so well.  But Aliyah did take a cute picture of Hailey and me.

Hailey loves kitty cats.  She tries to snuggle and hug any kitty cat she sees in books.  We decided to give her a kitty cat birthday.  Here's her cake.

Daddy and the girls after he got home from work.

After a dinner of sweet potatoes, green beans, and muffins,
Hailey opened her presents.

She loved the wrapping paper (of course)

And was content to keep ripping it to shreds.

She got a cute, cuddly stuffed kitty cat of her own.

She also got a little musical train set.

The girls were eager for Daddy to open the packaging.

Both girls had fun playing with the train and kitty cats that evening.

Afterwards we took Hailey down the street to see the farm animals.

This girl loves being outside!

We had fun picking a few dandelions and making birthday wishes.

Hailey enjoyed reading her cards.

Then it was time for cake!

Time to dig in!

She loved the cake and made quite the mess.  Her favorite, was the frosting.

After cake and getting cleaned up, I enjoyed a few snuggles with my sweet little Hailey Mae.
