July 24

We had a great July 24th.  We took the Front Runner to SLC to go to the Disney Store with the Thomsons and Silvers.  Aliyah, Hailey, and their cousins loved riding the train!
When we got there, we were able to see some floats from the Days of 47 Parade in SLC.  We then headed over to the Disney Store at City Creek.  Each day the store opens, they pick a special helper to help unlock the door with the magic Disney Key.  They picked Aliyah!  It was so cute to watch her get to help open the store and then be the first inside.  It was magical!  It was almost like she was in Disneyland again!  She loved the store and was so excited and overwhelmed at all the fun Disney things and all the Princess stuff!

Hailey also loved the store and got so excited to see and play with all the fun princess toys, Bullseye the horse from Toy Story, and all the fluffy skirts.  After a fun filled morning of Disney, we went over to the Cheesecake factory and each picked out a different slice of cheesecake (that way we could sample all the different kinds)!  Delicious!
We then headed home and let the girls take a much needed nap!  Afterwards we went to Grandpa and Grandma Thomsons and made hobo dinners, homemade rootbeer, homemade icecream and homemade waffle cones!  YUM!
Hailey also enjoyed her own treat - apples from Grandpa and Grandma's tree (while still on the tree!)

We enjoyed relaxing and enjoying each other's company that evening.
On Monday (July 23) for FHE, Daddy and Aliyah got creative and created a handcart out of treats.

Turned out pretty good!  I was impressed!
Happy Pioneer Day!
