Visitors!

My brother and sister-in-law and their cute kids came to visit us last week! It was so fun to have them here and to show them the sights of DC. They were able to see the monuments, memorials, Smithsonians, DC Temple, Mt Vernon, Arlington Cemetary, National Archives, Ford Theater, the Capitol and the White House! What a week! They have some great pictures on their blog. Here are a few I took -

All of us (except Jeff) in front of the Jefferson Memorial Closer view of the Jefferson Memorial

Mark, Sabrina, Vanessa, and Owen

We were able to tour the White House (thanks Sabrina for getting us tickets)! It was so neat! Full of history and so pretty!

Aliyah enjoying the walk

Aliyah and me at the Lincoln Memorial. (Jeff was at school and had a lot of studying to do this week, so he was only able to join us for a few things.)

The beautiful autumn leaves and the Washington Monument

The kids did great the whole time! It was cute that they all fell asleep at the same time while at the Library of Congress.

More autumn leaves in DC

Aliyah loved having cousins here to play with! We enjoyed having them here! Thanks! Love you!

Here are some other pictures I haven't posted yet that I hope you don't mind I catch up on...
Here is Aliyah at the doctor's office for her 6 month checkup. She is now 7 months, but the picture was so cute I had to post it! By the way, she has both bottom teeth now!

Aliyah likes to pull down her carseat shade and hold on while she rests her feet on it. It's so funny!

A couple of weeks ago we were able to go to the zoo here in DC with our friends Holly and Preston. We borrowed a double stroller. We had a lot of fun and saw some neat animals.
