Costumes

This was Aliyah's first Halloween! We were so excited to share the holiday with her. She was so adorable! We had two cute costumes that we couldn't decide on, so we dressed her up in both for our activities throughout the day. We let her enjoy a few licks of a sucker after her dinner. She loved it and got all sticky!

I loved her facial expression in this one! She's so funny!

We went to a ward Trunk or Treat activity during the day and she loved looking at all the kids and seeing the colorful costumes. (Since Aliyah wore two costumes, I did the same. I dressed up as a Hawaiian for the afternoon.) Here is Aliyah fascinated by her first trick or treat.

She is still loving her first trick or treat candy, but at least she shares with Daddy (Indiana Jones).

That evening Aliyah was Little Red Riding Hood and I was the Grandma. We didn't find a wolf costume for Jeff.

This picture is a little blurry, but it was cute to see her walking around in her cape.

A couple of days later, I was putting away our Halloween stuff and came across our clown hat. She tried it on and thought it was so funny! We did too!

Autumn leaves in Virginia - Beautiful!

Yesterday, Aliyah and I went with our friends Holly and Preston to the Botanical Gardens in DC. They had a lot of beautiful and unusual plants. They also had models of the buildings and monuments in DC, made out of plants and wood. It was neat.
