Aliyah loves to help me cook. Let me rephrase that...Aliyah loves to eat what we cook. She loves eating the flour, sugar, and if she could, the shortening and butter, etc!
I have made a deal with her, she can lick out the bowl and spoon AFTER we are done cooking. As you can tell, she likes the idea a lot!
This girl makes me laugh! She noticed I was making cookie dough the other day so she came into the kitchen with her cute, innocent look (pretending she didn't know what I was doing) and as she looked around the kitchen said, "Mom, I need something to lick". Ha ha.
I wanted to try a new recipe so I watch a video online to see how to make it (Empandas). Aliyah watched it with me and found it very fascinating and wanted to watch it a few times. (That was okay with me. I needed to see it a few times.) That night as I started cleaning up dinner, I noticed she was doing her own "cooking show". It was so funny! She got a little camera shy when I pulled out the camera to video her.
