We had a very fun and special Valentine's Day this year. We decided to do a Royal Valentine's Day Ball for the girls. Knowing how much Aliyah loves to dress up and dance, we thought it would be perfect.
That morning, the girls woke up to find a Royal Proclaimation inviting them to the Ball.
We had so much fun getting ready for the Ball that night. Aliyah was so anxious and kept asking if it was time for the Ball yet.
We had a Valentine's Dinner
(I included two pictures of the girls because I can never get both of them to smile in the same picture!)

Our delicious Valentine's Dinner
The Oreo cake Jeff decorated.
After dinner, the real fun began. We had the family room decorated for the Ball. Jeff found some Jim Brickman Disney music to dance to. Jeff was a good sport and put on his suit for the evening. Hailey, Aliyah, and I put on our fancy dresses. It was so cute to get ready with Aliyah. She was so talkative and excited. We had a lot of fun doing her hair, finding sticker earrings, putting on lip gloss and her favorite...the dress! Then she helped me. She told me how I should do my hair, helped me zip up my dress, and touch up my makeup. It was so special for me. It felt like we were best friends getting ready for the prom together, giggling, talking and full of excitement! We then got Hailey ready. Aliyah found her a necklace and helped her with her hair. Hailey was so cute in her little tutu! Jeff looked very handsome in his suit!

After the Ball, Aliyah thanked Daddy for being a Handsome Prince. It was so precious. What a wonderful evening for all of us. Jeff and I decided we are making this a tradition!
