We were able to go to our city's Heritage Day celebrations.
It was hot, but luckily we had lots of water and even got some popsicles from the parade.

Aliyah wanted to wear Daddy's Captain America Hat. She looked pretty cute in it and wore it proudly all day!
After the parade we went to the carnival. Aliyah really wanted to ride the boat ride.
(She picked that over cotton candy!)

That evening we went over to the Sorensens for a BBQ, to play, and watch fireworks together.
We had a fun day!
