Michelle got her first maternity clothes today.
They will be a lot more comfortable for her.
She is at that awkward stage where her clothes don't fit, but she doesn't need really big maternity clothes either. We are excited, for on October 17th we get to find out if it is a boy or a girl! We will be just as happy with either.

As my due date approaches (not rapidly, I might add) and I feel more and more like a 4H project - weighed, measured, and told to keep eating and taking vitamins- I can't help but think that I was once at the stage of being excited about maternity clothes. You are SO adorable anyway. I think you are the kind of cute pregnant lady that maternity clothing designers design for.
Ah...the cute pregnant stage. Sheesh, at 10 days postpartum I still look more pregnant than you look now!

Enjoy the clothes. I always find it hard to give up the elastic waist bands after I am done. Zippers and buttons are highly over rated.

Enjoy your new clothes as much as possible now. It won't be long before you're digging through your drawer looking for something/anything else to wear besides the same 5 maternity shirts you wear over and over. You're soon forced to accept that nothing else fits you anymore, so you reach for a shirt you swear you just wore the other day. Then you begin to question the wisdom of why you bought three of the same shirt on that great sale, even if they're different colors, because it only makes that feeling of "Didn't I just wear this?" even worse) -- or maybe this is just me....
