For her 6 month birthday, we let her try green beans. She hated them and was gagging them down. What a birthday celebration!

We had a Pie Enrichement night last week, so I practiced making a couple of pies (Jeff didn't mind). This one is the final product - Apricot Pie.
This is one of the practice ones - Peach pie. We gave Aliyah a little lick and she loved it! She was smacking her lips and actually said "mmmm!" It was so funny! (No wonder she doesn't like green beans! ha ha)
Aliyah has made a lot of friends here. This a picture of Aliyah and her friend Preston when we went grocery shopping together. They did so great! We got a lot of people asking if they were twins. They have so much fun together!

What sweet pictures. I agree with Alyah, baby greenbeans are disgusting. I felt so bad for my kids that I never bought them baby food. I always made it. I have to admit some of it was pretty tasty. :)
And be careful, because now she is six month and before you know it she will be two, and then 4, then starting school. Time moves too fast, but the truth is, it only gets better.

Oh she is getting so big and so cute! We miss you guys so much! That is so fun that Aliyah got her first tooth. At least she waited until she was 6 months. That is very nice for you. Vanessa didn't like eating green beans too! She liked the sweet stuff but I guess you have to give them the yucky green stuff to be called a "good mom" :) Well, we hope to see you in a few weeks! We love you so much!

I can't get Marcus to eat hardly any vegetables. It doesn't help that I think they smell disgusting, so when he doesn't like them, I give up too soon. Whoops.
She is simply adorable! I can't believe she's so big and standing and has teeth (or tooth). Awesome, indeed.
My baby will be 1 year this week! It's sad and fun at the same time to see them grow up.

I have to tell you, none of us liked green beans and I've never head of a baby who does, it kind of makes me wonder why they make it. I guess it sells enough that they do.
