We were able to see the Cherry Blossoms again this year! Beautiful! We met Jeff after his classes on Tuesday, March 29 and enjoyed the blossoms. The weather was a bit colder than last year, but it didn't stop us from our walk.
Aliyah loved to point out the blossoms and would even sing "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree"!
Jeff took this picture of the reflection of the Washington Monument. I thought it turned out so pretty!
The shadows made it hard to get a good family picture.
The pink blossoms. Aliyah's favorite. She was so excited she ran up to the tree to get a better look (and pick a blossom).
Close-up of the pink blossoms.
The Jefferson Memorial behind all the Cherry Blossoms.
It is so spectacular to walk around under all the trees. Now Aliyah loves pointing out any blossoms on any tree. Spring in DC and Virginia is beautiful! We were glad we were able to see the Cherry Blossoms again this year.
