The city of Syracuse celebrates its Heritage Days with a parade, activities, and fireworks. We went to the parade in the morning. Aunt Jenny was in the parade.

We have to admit, we got a little homesick for Virginia after we saw these soldiers marching down the street.

That evening we enjoyed a BBQ and swimming.
We also roasted marshmallows.
We also had fun jumping on the trampoline.
To finish the day, we watched the fireworks from the Thomson's back yard. We had a pretty good view. It was a fun day!
