Bryce Canyon

Jeff had a Prosecutor's Conference down in Bryce Canyon and we were able to come with him!

We left Tuesday, Sept 11 in the afternoon and arrived that night.  Wednesday, Sept 12, his classes didn't start until 1pm so we went into the park that morning to see the beautiful scenery.

Wow!  It was breathtaking!

It was beautiful! 

We went back to our hotel for lunch and Jeff went to his meeting.  

The girls and I did some exploring of the hotel area.  We found a little pond.

After Jeff's classes we went to the fun little shops across the street. 

Hailey tried on a pink cowboy hat for 3 seconds before she yanked it off.  It was cute on her!

We went to a rock shop

Aliyah got a purple quartz rock for the price of a smile.  It was very nice of the cashier!

It sure made her day and she loves her rock!

The next day (Thursday, Sept 13) while Daddy was at his meetings, the girls and I went swimming!

When we got back, Aliyah asked for a nap - I knew she wasn't feeling well when she asked to take a nap!  Turns out she was sick the rest of the day and just stayed in bed watching the Disney Channel and taking naps.

Hailey was still full of energy so we played outside for a bit.

That afternoon, after Jeff's meetings, we headed back into the park to see the rest of it. 

With Aliyah not feeling well, we put the girls in the strollers, but they weren't very thrilled nor photogenic.  So we ended up just doing what we could from the car.

Later that night, Hailey started climbing the desk, fell backwards and got stuck on our shoes.  It was pretty funny!

The next day was our last day there (Friday, Sept 14).  Aliyah was feeling 100% better and wanted to do everything that day. I felt bad that we couldn't do everything she wanted because we had to pack up and leave.

Aliyah wanted to look at the "Castle" rocks one more time now that she was feeling better so we went through the park one more time with the girls.

We really enjoyed our family trip to Bryce Canyon!  We were glad we got to go.  It was beautiful!
