Cherry Blossoms

Spring in Washington DC is beautiful! We have had weather in the upper 70's and even a few days in the low 80's! The flowers are blooming, the grass is green, and the trees have beautiful blossoms. Last Thursday, we met Jeff in DC after his classes and walked around to see the Cherry Blossoms. What a site! It looked like popcorn popping on the apricot tree or even snow covered branches. From a distant it's neat to see, but walking under the canopy of blossoms was spectacular! Here are some pictures of our walk.
Aliyah loved looking at all the birds, ducks, and geese.

We were able to walk under all those trees!

I don't know what these trees are called, but it looked like they were tulip trees!
It was crowded there! A lot of people had the same idea.

It was beautiful! We were glad to be able to experience the Cherry Blossoms in DC.

Wow, that's so beautiful! We had some friends go to Washington D.C. a few years ago for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Her pictures were also breathtaking. I hope to be able to go someday too and see them for myself.
