It was so much fun watching Aliyah enjoy Easter! The Easter "Rabbit" Bunny came during her morning nap. She was so cute to watch as she hunted eggs. She would find an egg, get excited and pick it up, shake it for a bit, spot another egg (sometimes with help from Mom), drop her egg and run over to the other one. She didn't quite get the "gather the eggs in the basket" concept, but loved to find the eggs lying around. We also found out that she loves Cadbury Eggs, by accident. I had given Jeff a couple for Easter and somehow Aliyah found one and bit into it, right through the wrapping and into the gooey middle. After discovering what it contained, she had wide, excited eyes, kept saying "yummy" and was asking for more. It melted Daddy's heart to watch her beg for more, so he gave in and gave her another lick of the middle.
Here's some pictures from the day:

The Easter "Rabbit" gave her a book and 2 slinkies for Easter.
Aliyah with a plastic egg she found. (Probably wishing it was a Cadbury Egg!)

I love this one of those two. So cute!

You are such a good mom for the holidays. I always used their young age as an excuse not to do anything. I wish I had your energy. :)

That's so cute to hear how Aliyah searched for eggs. I bet she really did love that Cadbury egg. Daddies always seem to have the yummiest treats!
