We got an artificial tree this year (thanks to a great deal at Walmart!) and had fun decorating it last weekend. Aliyah loved helping! I was a little nervous about having a tree with my little crawler/walker, but so far the tree is still standing.
I love decorating the Christmas tree, too bad ours will be a paper tree this year. No room so I am planning on drawing one and taping it ot the wall. :)
That is so great that you got a great deal on a Christmas tree! I love Christmas time! I bet Aliyah is loving the lights and the decorations. I can't wait till we get to put up ours. Less than one week until we move! We are sad that you won't be able to come for Christmas but we understand. I can't wait for you to get your presents! I am so excited to send them. We love you all so much!
I have to say, yay for Artificial! The smell of a real tree is great, but we make up for that with candles. I got so sick of those needles and keeping the dang thing alive even though it never made it to Christmas.

That is cute. It only gets more fun. I think decorating the tree and having the tree is the best part of Christmas.
