We were so excited to go see the lights this year at the Washington DC Temple. All the way there Aliyah kept telling us "temple" and "lights", but it was so cute when she actually saw them. She was so excited! I loved hearing her squeals of delight and seeing her face as she pointed out all the lights and then the temple.
She even ran around trying to smell the lights that look like flowers.
It was a cold night, but she was bundled up well and loved every minute.
We asked her which color she liked best and she would just start naming all the colors she saw! They had an outdoor nativity scene there too and she wanted to go see "baby Jesus". She talked about that all the way home.
We really enjoyed seeing the lights, but sharing in the excitement with Aliyah made it even more special.
We are definitely going to go back again!

She is SUCH a cutie! I love "smelling" the "flower" lights! And I can hear her squeals of delight in my mind. That is just so fun! Merry Christmas!
