After Jamestown, we raced over to Williamsburg so that we could have a fun lunch in an old tavern. We were able to enjoy our lunch at the Chowning Tavern.
We had some yummy sandwiches. It was a quaint little place.
We enjoyed the experience
As we walked up and down the streets, we saw actors walking around in character. There were some that would talk with you, others acted out scenes, and there was even a boy that sat on the bench of the tavern and played the flute. They did such a good job of making it seem like we transported back in time.
We were able to see some "Red Coats" walking down the street too.
The stocks
I know this is where some people feel lawyers belong, but we didn't want him to stay there long.
The governor's mansion.
There was so much to do that we weren't able to see and do it all. But we got a good taste of these historical areas.
We really enjoyed the day together! We would love to come back and can't wait to do so.
Before we headed home, we stopped by the College of William and Mary Law School (the oldest law school in the US). Here are 3 famous lawyers...Marshall, Wythe, and Thomson :)

I hope to visit there one day!
What a fun place! :)
They do that as a job?! Just act like citizens? That's so cool! I love the three great lawyers :P Seriously though, once Jeff gets out, he's going to be a great one. Just remember about family discounts :P Just kidding! I'm glad you guys had a good time!
